The Clarence Valley Indigenous Art Award (CVIAA) is open to First Nations artists who reside on Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr, and Yaegl Country within the Clarence Valley Council region.
The Gallery Foundation Emerging Artist Scholarship has been created to support young creatives in the Clarence Valley local government area. The $5,000 annual scholarship aims to highlight the talents of young people, enhance connections of young emerging artists with the Grafton Regional Gallery, and advance culture in the region – a major aim of The Gallery Foundation.
The scholarship is open to graduating Year 12 students who have completed studies that year in one or more of the following subjects as part of the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC):- Visual arts - Visual design - Design & Technology - Textile & Design - Industrial Technology - Photography, video, and digital imaging
