WELCOME TO CURRICULUM CONNECTIONS 2025

Grafton Regional Gallery is committed to offering arts and culture experiences for schools, educators and students in the Clarence Valley and our wider region. The educational experiences that can be gained through visiting Grafton Regional Gallery, and our cultural precinct, are varied and exciting.

Curriculum Connections 2025 brings together highlights from our 2025 Artistic Program, and links them with the NSW Syllabuses for each stage of both Primary and Secondary schools. In doing this, we hope to be able to enhance your students’ learning experiences through visits to the Grafton Regional Gallery.

In this document we have mapped out five exhibitions (in chronological order), provided an overview about the content and exhibition premise, and listed for each stage from Early Stage 1 to Stage 6 clear links between the exhibition’s content and the NSW curriculum.

This year as part of Curriculum Connections 2025, we are also excited to launch The Gallery Foundation Emerging Artist Scholarship, which awards $5,000 annually to a graduating Year 12 student from the Clarence Valley who shows consistent artistic and creative talent and innovation.

We look forward to welcoming Clarence Valley students and educators to Grafton Regional Gallery in 2025.
